To support climate change mitigation and transition to a low-carbon urban environment through the use of renewable energy in public infrastructure.
# Summary
Excellence is awarded where all powered public landscaping elements—excluding street lighting—are powered by renewable energy sources such as solar or wind. This includes elements like irrigation systems, water features, lighting for signage or public art, and other powered amenities.
Applicants should demonstrate compliance by identifying the renewable energy systems used, their integration into the landscape infrastructure, and their location within site or services plans.
