To achieve thermally comfortable and climate-resilient public realm environments that reduce exposure to heat-related risks.

Better practice is awarded where roofing materials with a solar absorptance value of 0.4 or below are clearly specified for all public realm buildings and shelters. This is demonstrated on the Landscape Masterplan and Detailed Landscape Plans through annotated materials, legends.
