To provide for the safe, efficient operation of public transport and the comfort and convenience of public transport users.
# Summary
Better practice is awarded where there is a commitment to negotiate with Public Transport Victoria to contribute funding for public transport stop(s) within or adjoining the subdivision. To meet the standard, applicants should provide a written statement of intent and include this commitment in planning documentation—such as the planning report, infrastructure contributions plan, or permit application—identifying potential stop locations and confirming engagement with Public Transport Victoria.
